I notice i am wanting us to have a feeling of wholeness about us. I was telling the story tonight about how i came to the circle, and i was broken, and i reflected that i had some mistrust. And i returned again and again and learned the language as we do and as we all are , and i see our core beliefs and wounds changing and healing and feel a wholeness coming to us as we are allowing ourselves to be before the compassionate witness.

tonight Wendy led us to embodying a need, embodying empathy. What a beautiful process. I am asking for an expanded resonance in daily life as we have in circle, call it beloveds, call it empahty, call it beingness, call it beauty. We are becoming whole in our community, in our bodies. Tonight we gazed into each others eyes. I honor the brokeness and honor that by bringing ourselves here, that we are ready, we are here, present, and loving even if our hearts aren't completely open. This is it. Thank you all for making life real for all of us. Gratitude for Marshall's journey and experience, for this process and processes like it, creating in these little moments a thing called connection, and that is really all there is.

And so i offer you a poem:

Story Water

A story is like water
That you heat for your bath

It takes messages between the fire
And your skin. It lets them meet,
And it cleans you!

Verynfew can sit down
In the middle of the fire itself
Like a salamander or Abraham.
We need intermediaries.

A feeling of fullness comes
But usually it takes some bread
to bring it.

Beauty surrounds us,
But usually we need to be walking
In a garden to know it.

The body itself is a screen
To sheild and partially reveal
The light that's blazing
Inside your presence.

Water, stories, the body,
All the things we do, are mediums
That hide a d show what's hidden.

Study them,
And enjoy this being washed
With a secret we sometimes know,
And then not.

Just what is wholeness anyway?

It really is everything
Including the emptiness, the loneliness and the space between our atoms.

The Prophecy

We are born into the world
A slave, to masters, tongues unfurled
They lead us to the other head
Wherein we are the tragic dead
The grey skies they do to us call
And while we wait
We all do fall
The birds avoid and separate
Until one day, when light creates
A life which Is and Does and Loves
A light which speaks to the above
Read these words, and you may see
The light, alive, as it can be
Beware the serpents, they are clever
But the Love, they do see never
This is the folly of the snake
If it sees Love, the world will BREAK
