Finding Peace, Seeking Challenge
Sunday November 9, 2014 10am to 4pm
Support yourself in embracing the full spectrum of what makes life wonderful! Explore the delicious interplay between the search for more peace and ease in your life and also seeking and enjoying growth and challenge.
This is a one-day workshop applying non-violent communication skills and Interpersonal Neurobiology to help us deepen our ability to find peace from the inside out, connect to our joy in expanding our capabilities, and finding a dynamic balance between the two. Get support in looking at the blocks that can get in your way with empathy and understanding to find more freedom and choice.
There will be the opportunity to express and receive care and encouragement with others in this workshop. Celebrate the power and safety of community support in harmony with personal responsibility. Whether you are new to NVC or have lots of experience, I invite you to take part in this chance to really immerse yourself in a new way of thinking and speaking.
I would love to hear from you if you are planning to attend, but feel free to show up at the last minute if you want to join in. email@example.com We will take a lunch break at 12:30 and you may wish to join some of us at a local restaurant, eat on your own or bring your own lunch. Come and join me at Pacifica Treatment Centre – 1755 E. 11th Avenue, near the Broadway Skytrain Station, on 11th between Commercial and Victoria.
I am working toward becoming a certified NVC trainer, but will not be judging anyone’s quality of participation or amount of learning. This workshop is intended to provide an opportunity to practice improving communication and self-awareness in a supportive atmosphere.
